THE INTERPRETIVE PANELS
Visitors to the Painted Desert Trading Post are guided and informed by eight interpretive panels placed throughout the structure. Presented here in PDF files, they document the rich history of the post and the early Route 66 alignment near which it now, firmly, stands. They also show visitors the exent of the work accomplished to reclaim and to preserve the post, and the many dedicated folks who contributed to the efforts.
